The Motor City Symphony Orchestra has been an award-winning cultural force for decades. Since their very first performance in 1973, they have striven to cultivate a new generation of classical music lovers while giving those patrons with an already sophisticated understanding of classical music opportunities to deepen and broaden their musical interests.

Soprano Angela Theis has captivated the attention of international audiences and critics alike, while remaining in-demand as a performer in her hometown Detroit area. This fall, Andiamo presented Angela alongside Italian tenor Pasquale Esposito and as the opening act for An Evening with Sophia Loren. A familiar face of Michigan Opera Theatre, she has sung numerous roles at the Detroit Opera House. This concert marks her debut with the Motor City Symphony Orchestra.
